Natural gas prices across rose sharply in March, by more than 60 percent. At least 95 countries have seen gasoline prices rise since the US and Israeli attacks on Iran. In some countries, price changes are only announced at the end of each month, so many countries are expected to see price increases next month as well. Shipping companies stopped passage through the Strait of Hormuz, through which about a quarter of the world's maritime oil trade passes, following the attacks.
