Iran reported that a Pakistani tanker was able to pass through the Strait of Hormuz after making a payment in yuan. Earlier, #Iran voiced its demands for ending the war, among which was the requirement to withdraw oil payments from the dollar zone and transfer them to other currencies. It's quite understandable that the yuan would be the main candidate for substitution.
