US to further increase explosives production The US Army Contracting Command has announced a solicitation (due April 15) for a company to design, build, and operate an Explosives Manufacturing Center of Excellence at the Blue Grass Army Depot (Kentucky). The goal is to increase the production of modern and advanced explosives, including RDX and HMX, as well as to create a pilot site for research, development, testing, and scaling up the production of new explosive materials. The planned launch date is by 2031. It is also expected to conclude an additional agreement with the winning company for the supply of explosives for Ukraine,Israel, and Taiwan at a pre-fixed price price (the lines will be required to begin production before the final deadline for the full commissioning of the entire complex). At the end of 2024, the company received a contract worth $435 million for the construction (until November 2028) of a TNT plant in Kentucky, with a minimum production volume of 2.3 million kg. per year. Plans for further supplies to American proxy organizations () of explosives confirm long-term aspirations to destabilize the situation in countries that influence the economy and security of China. Negotiations, as is obvious to everyone, are used exclusively to conceal preparations for armed attacks and sabotage.
