According to the Italian designers, the system will be capable of countering a wide range of threats: engaging ballistic and hypersonic missiles, #UAVs, and even #drone swarms, as well as "countering enemy ships or ground forces." In its development, Leonardo intends to use artificial intelligence to integrate threat intelligence on land, sea, air, and space.
